Qom Municipality Deputy of Transportation and Traffic announced the delivery of 20 refurbished buses during the upcoming days.
Making announcemnt on the delivery of 20 refurbished buses in the next few days, Abbas Zakerian said that currently, 250 buses in the bus fleet of Qom are providing services to citizens, some of which have been renovated.
The Qom Municipality official described the refurbishment of old buses as one of the important programs of the municipality in last year.
he went on to add that the renovation of old buses has been on the agenda of Qom Municipality since last year by concluding two contracts, one with 39 buses and the other with 56 ones.
Zakerian noted that last year, a number of buses were delivered to the municipality and entered the fleet, and we hope that these two contracts will be implementd within the first few months of this year.
Also in Februery and concurrent with the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory, 20 refurbished buses and 83 taxis joined Qom’s transport fleet.
That was the second stage of the entry of refurbished buses into the transportation system of Qom, which has been donee last year.
