The executive director of Qom ءunicipality explained the various measures taken by the municipality in order to save gas consumption.
Mehdi Yousefi made the remarks referring to taking necessary measures to manage energy consumption in different parts of Qom Municipality.
Due to the nature of being a service provider, Qom Municipality is continuously providing services in different parts of the urban area, so it has taken effective measures in order to manage and save gas and energy consumption, he said.
He then stated that all the notifications issued by authorities such as the Ministry of Interior, the Governor’s Office, and electricity and gas companies are on the agenda.
These notices are monitored on a daily basis while notifying other units and parts, including subordinated organizations, he added.
He declared setting the ambient temperature of municipality buildings at 18 degrees Celsius, noting this temperature is observed by automatic BMS systems, which have reduced gas consumption by 50%.
