The deputy of Environment and Urban Services of Qom Municipality announced the opening and operation of seven projects in waste management coinciding with the Fajr Decade.
Mehdi Isfahanian Moghadam made the announcement at the meeting of the Council meeting of Waste Management Organization which was held in the meeting hall of Qom Municipality.
Referring to the opening of seven environmental plans in the field of waste management, he called this action an effective step in the management of industrial waste in the city, he said.
He pointed out that with the opening and operation of the municipal waste separation line (No. 2), the direct burial of waste in Qom city will reach zero.
The credit of this project is 300 billion rials, which is aimed at separating household waste into parts in order not to bury harmful and incompatible items, and separating recyclable components with the aim of creating added value, he remarked.
