The CEO of Qom Municipality Waste Management Organization announced the implementation of the project of recycling assistants in Qom schools.
Seyyed Abdullah Mirabrehimi made the announcement referring to the implementation of the recycling assistants project in primary schools of Qom city.
39 thousand and 174 students have been trained in 184 schools in the past month in the project of recycling assistants, which has been implemented since the beginning of December in the primary schools of Qom city, he said.
In this project, primary school students from the third to the sixth grade get to know the principles of waste management, he remarked.
In this project, which started at the beginning of December, students with the help of their parents separate their dry waste and deliver it to the recycling booths, he noted.
And the students who participate the most are given prizes and are honored, he stated.
