The director of Organizational Transformation and Renovation of Qom Municipality announced carrying out a research project with the title of investigating methods of management and disposal of wastewater in the Alborz site and presenting its implementation solutions.
Mohammad Madahi Harandi made the announcement saying that the project is being implemented at the request of Waste Management Organization of Qom Municipality.
Referring to the main factors affecting the type and amount of waste; He considered the change of consumption pattern along with the change of seasons, geographical diversity and lifestyle among the factors of waste control.
For example, compared to European and advanced countries, the leachate of disposal sites in Iran has a much higher organic load, the main reason for which is the allocation of a major part (65%) of urban waste to food in Iran, he said.
According to him, to check the quantity and quality of the produced leachate from different stages of the urban waste management process in order to choose the most effective and economical treatment process, sampling should be done and analyzed from different parts of the waste production in which leachate is somehow produced.
