The mayor of Qom said that accuracy should be done in the initial review of the projects, but we should not ignore the speed in the implementation of civil projects.
Dr. Seyyed Morteza Saghaiannejad made the remarks at the 60th official and public meeting of the Qom Islamic City Council.
The mayor of Qom described speed as one of the advantages of actions that are taken by the city council and the municipality.
At a time when inflation is increasing hourly, the time of 5 months for review and approval of each project is too much for administrative go back and forth to the Islamic Council and it causes a lot of losses for the municipality and the contractor, he noted.
Accuracy should be taken in the initial review of the project, but we should not ignore the speed and jihadi nature of the project implementation and the city council should anticipate a new solution to this issue, he added.
