A 7,000 m² park for disabled & blind people on agenda in Qom

The head of Technical and Design of Qom Municipality said the municipality has put the design of a 7,000 square meter park on agenda, aiming at easy use for the disabled and blind communities.

Leili Nik Khalgh Ahmadi made the remarks referring to the significance of adapting the city’s roads.

At present, the volume of improvements in Qom municipality in Districts 7, 1 and 4 is more pronounced than in other areas, and the process of road improvement is ongoing, and not all city streets have been improved yet, she underlined.

Passages such as Eram Sidewalks, Janbazan Crossroad, 19 Dey Street, Safaiyeh, Enghelab Crossroads, Amin Boulevard and Haft-e Tir Street are some of the roads where the level of improvement is considered satisfactory.

As a pilot for the adaptation of Qom’s recreational centers, Qom’s Bonyadi park is in a good condition for use by the disabled, she added.
