The spokesman of the Islamic City Council of Qom says the council will try to collect the legal revenues of the library institution in the local and national dimensions from the aspect of urban regeneration.
Ruhollah Amrollahi made the comments in a meeting with the director of public libraries in the province.
He described education and culture as important issues in urban regeneration and stated, “The construction and promotion of public libraries is one of the main tools of public education and culture.”
Referring to the long history of libraries in the country he added that many prominent and unique libraries of the country, such as the library of Ayatollah Murashi Najafi (RA), are located in this city.
And in addition to this, a large number of specialized libraries with high scientific richness are at the disposal of researchers and thinkers, he asserted.
