The director general of Communications and International Affairs of Qom Municipality announced the drawing up of the system of priority issues for commissions, committees and working groups of the Assembly of Mayors of Iranian Metropolitan Cities and its constant updating.
Mehdi Kalantarzadeh made the announcement on the sidelines of the 30th meeting of the Communication and International Affairs Committee of the Assembly of Mayors of Iran’s Metropolises.
In this committee, Qom municipality is responsible for the strategic and development working group with the membership of the cities of Tehran, Rasht, Mashhad, Ardabil, Yazd, Tabriz, Shiraz, and Urmia.
In this regard, at the suggestion of Qom Municipality, drawing up the system of priority issues of the Assembly of Metropolises of Iran was put on the agenda, Kalantarzadeh said.
In this meeting and at the suggestion of Qom Municipality, it was decided to outline the system of priority issues for commissions, committees and working groups of the Assembly of Mayors of Iran’s Metropolitan Cities with the presence of committee members in the meeting of other commissions, and by creating the necessary interactions with the secretaries of these commissions, the ground for updating And decision-making regarding the system of priority issues of metropolises to be followed, he added.
The 30th meeting of the Communication and International Affairs Committee of the Assembly of Mayors of Iran’s Metropolises was hosted by Yazd Metropolitan Municipality on Wednesday and Thursday (October 12-13).
