Urban management after introducing Qom as cultural capital of Islamic world

The mayor of Qom says the city management group is seeking to select and introduce Qom as the cultural capital of the Islamic world in 2027, which requires the efforts and of local and national cultural and religious activists. 

Dr. Seyed Morteza Saghaiannejad made the remarks at the meeting of the administrative council of Qom municipality while referring to the naming of the anniversary of Fatima Masoumeh’s arrival in this city as “Qom Day”.

In this regard, written planning by the urban management group in various artistic formats, scientific festivals and meetings, and sports Olympiads along with the introduction of tourism capacities and the pilgrim economy are being carried out.

According to him, the city management group is seeking to select and introduce Qom as the cultural capital of the Islamic world in 2027, which requires the efforts and of local and national cultural and religious activists.

The mayor of Qom added that introducing Qom as the cultural capital of the Islamic world can bring many of its actual and neglected capacities into circulation and provide the ground for further prosperity and growth of this metropolis.
