CCO stresses using media capacity to inform urban management actions

The director general of Communications and International Affairs of Qom Municipality says in the operational field and in the form of advertising and urban brand working group, portraying the system of urban priority issues would be on the agenda by using the capacity of different media.

Mehdi Kalantarzadeh made the remarks on the sidelines of the 30th meeting of the Communication and International Affairs Committee of the Assembly of Mayors of Iran’s Metropolises.

Referring to the forum of the advertising and urban brand working group, he stated, “In these meetings, public relations managers of Iranian metropolises emphasized the use of visual, audio, online and written media in order to fulfill the missions assigned to public relations of municipalities.”

In the operational field and in the form of advertising and urban brand working group, portraying the system of urban priority issues would be on the agenda by using the capacity of different media, aiming to create waves and implement media plans, he reiterated.

In this working group and at the suggestion of the Qom municipality, it was decided that with the aim of coordination and consonance in the field of thought, opinion and action in the six main working groups, after assessing the current situation and the existing problems, displaying off of the main problems of metropolises in the field of media and advertising should be on the agenda, he concluded.
