The Civilization Deputy of Qom Municipality says the contract for the construction of the skeleton of a shelter in 2,000 square meters of built-up area has been concluded, and the excavation operations and its executive foundation are on the agenda of the municipality.
Abbas Halvaizadeh made the remarks referring to the planning for the construction of a shelter in Qom.
During the President’s visit to Qom in January of last year, a budget of 3 billion tomans was allocated for the construction of a shelter, he stated.
He went on to note that this shelter is being built with the cooperation and participation of the governorate, municipality and welfare organization.
After operation and completion, the two-story shelter will be ceded to the Qom General Welfare Department to organize the target group.
The municipality official added that the contract to complete the skeleton of this project has been finalized in the amount of 8 billion tomans, and efforts are being made to put this project into operation at Fatemieh town in less than a year.
