Municipality of Qom mobilizes all facilities to serve Arbaeen pilgrims

The Qom city management group has used all its capacity and facilities to serve the Arbaeen pilgrims on the route to and from the epic procession.

All the employees of Qom Municipality have been preparing the holy city of Qom for the presence of Iranian and non-Iranian pilgrims for the past two months by forming the headquarters and special Arbaeen committees.

The holy city of Qom annually hosts millions of Iranian and non-Iranian pilgrims, and this year due to the elimination of Coronavirus restrictions, the enthusiastic presence of pilgrims on the way to and from Karbala in Qom is expected.

This issue has caused Qom Municipality to use all its facilities and capacities to welcome pilgrims.

Preparation of five campsites in the city are ready to accommodate travelers and pilgrims, establishing monitoring teams for urban violations, 24-hour waste collection in Jamkaran Holy Mosque, non-stop service of the transport fleet, dispatch of Qom fire brigade to Mehran border, and provision of 9 thousand ice cubes per day are among some measures taken by the municipality in this regard.
