Daily dispatch of 5000 pilgrims from terminal of Qom municipality to Mehran border

The managing director of Roads and Transport of Qom says on a daily basis and on average, 5,000 pilgrims leave for the border of Mehran through the central terminal of Kosar of Qom Municipality to attend the Arbaeen procession.

Talking to reporters, Hossein Zanjirani Farahani stated, “In order to better organize Arbaeen pilgrims, great efforts have been made to send pilgrims through the central terminal of Koar.”

Referring to the daily dispatch of 110 buses from Qom to the border of Mehran, he pointed out that due to the transportation location of Qom, Qom witnesses the high traffic days of sending pilgrims to the exit borders as well as the arrival of Arbaeen pilgrims to this province.

The director general of Roads and Transport of Qom reiterated that on average, 5 thousand pilgrims go to the border of Mehran through the central terminal of Kosar of Qom Municipality.

Zanjirani Farahani, emphasizing the high volume of travel and traffic of vehicles crossing from Qom to Mehran border, added that due to the high volume of traffic, pilgrims are requested to change their departure time by a few days so that public services can be provided in a better way.
