Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi appreciated the Qom Municipality’s performance, stressing the city’s development.
Ayatollah Makarem made the remarks in a meeting with the mayor of Qom, Dr. Seyyed Morteza Saghaiannejad.
Emphasizing informing the people about the measures of Qom Municipality, he said, “Reporting to the public to increase hope is one of the programs that should be a priority for all organizations.”
The prominent cleric went on to highlight the impact of urban advertising and space in the field of cultural issues.
One of the factors for the development and change of culture is the use of placards and banners in the city and we can not be unaware of its effect, then we must have more advertisements to promote cultural values, he added.
For his part, Dr. Saghaiannejad reiterated that the most important priority of the municipality in the second operational plan of Qom 1404 is to pay attention to software and cultural issues.
Other bodies in charge of cultural duties must also cooperate with the municipality and perform their duties, he concluded.
