Managing Director of Qom Municipality Development and Civil Engineering Organization has announced the production of 150,000 tons of asphalt with a credit of 1,100 billion rials this year.
Seyed Abolfazl Miryek Emami elaborated on the plans of the Municipality Development and Civil Organization.
Last year, despite the large spike in prices, the required bitumen was purchased by the central municipality and delivered to the organization, he said.
This year 150,000 tons of asphalt are supposed to be produced with the priority of development roads that are paved and infrastructure and roads in the underprivileged areas, he added.
Managing Director of Qom Municipality Development and Civil Engineering Organization announced the credit of the asphalt department of the organization 110 billion Tomans for the city of Qom.
Referring to the need for mines for the municipality, he noted that the province’s approach is to have two government mines in the city of Qom, a river mine that provides infrastructure materials and infrastructure, last year produced and distributed 250,000 tons for the roads.
He considered the development of a river mine in 1401 less than last year and said that 200,000 tons of production and distribution of infrastructure materials are predicted for this year and according to the governor’s order, we are trying to set up a mountain mine for an asphalt factory.
