Qom pilgrimage & tourism internet portal launched on occasion of mid-Shaban

Qom Pilgrimage and Tourism Internet Portal at www.qomzaer.ir started working on the occasion of mid-Shaban celebrations with the engagement of provincial bodies.

Qom Comprehensive Pilgrimage and Tourism Portal was launched to introduce the historical and pilgrimage places and provide all the information needed by pilgrims, travelers, and tourists at www.qomzaer.ir.

The internet portal was launched in cooperation with several authorities of Qom province concurrent with mid-Shaban celebrations (birth anniversary of 12th Shia Imam).

In this internet portal, a complete introduction of Qom tourism capacities, especially with a religious approach, as well as the information required by travelers and pilgrims, including accommodation, health centers, shops, and commercial centers, is provided.

Special introduction, programs, and various ceremonies of mid-Shaban and Nowruz, along with a special multimedia section with photos and clips of Qom’s tourism capacities are other features of this comprehensive portal.

It is worth mentioning that routing and navigation with “Neshan” routing software has also among the features of this internet portal for travelers and pilgrims in order to organize traffic.

Every year, millions of Shia Muslim pilgrims from Iran and other countries converge at holy shrines and mosques — especially Jamkaran Mosque near the holy city of Qom — to celebrate the event.

in the past two years, however, the Iranian people commemorated the occasion at home as public gatherings are banned amid the coronavirus outbreak.

But this year with ease of restrictions, managers, and officials of the city are trying to hold glorious celebrations with preserving health protocols.
