The head of the Parks and Green Space Organization of Qom Municipality says about 15,000 citizens registered in the system to receive free saplings.
Referring to people’s widespread welcome, Payam Javadian stated that the distribution process has been started.
however, the distribution of seedlings is time-consuming and will be completed by the end of Nowruz, he added.
The municipality official touched upon the end of registration time in the spring plan, adding, ” This idea became operational within the plan of ‘plant friendship tree’, aiming to free delivery of seedlings to citizens.”
He went on to say that the plan, fortunately, received a great welcome.
The director of the Parks and Green Space Organization of Qom Municipality said, “Unfortunately, a number of citizens did not complete the information required in the system and it is not possible to donate seedlings to them, and for other citizens, the delivery time of seedlings will be notified via SMS.”
