The mayor of Qom announced the allocation of a special budget in 1401 to organize the urban decay.
Dr. Seyyed Morteza Saghaiannejad made the remarks on the sidelines of the inauguration of the Shahid Sadeghi Boulevard and Orchid Park.
Sheikhan, Chehel Akhtaran, the context around the holy shrine, and Ghabrestan No are part of urban decay projects that we hope the organization of these projects will start soon, he stated.
Referring to the allocation of a special budget in 1401 to organize the urban decay, he said, “Part of this budget is allocated from the resources of 48 hectares of land, and regarding the added value that these lands create, it constitutes about 25% of that budget.”
The mayor stressed that the main goal of the municipality is to serve the people, adding, “Municipalities and people are like water and fish. We run the city from the tolls that people pay, and the better the services provided to the people, the greater the desire of the citizens to participate in the affairs of the city.”
