The head of the Information Technology Committee of the Islamic City Council of Qom says the 80% increase in the budget of this organization compared to last year shows the serious support of the sixth council in the field of ICT in the city.
Masoumeh Amereh made the remarks at the introduction ceremony of the new head of the Information and Communication Technology Organization of Qom Municipality.
Noting 80% growth in ICT Organization credits, she announced the Allocation of 540 billion rials budget to the ICT center in the upcoming year.
The changes made due to the new approach and policies of the Sixth Council in the field of IT, and these changes provide an opportunity to inject new perspectives into the system, she added.
Pointing to the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the municipality ICT organization, the member of the city council said, “Certainly, every organization has had and will have strengths and weaknesses during its life, which can improve its organizational development and progress by taking advantage of its strengths and turning threats into opportunities and supports of the urban management complex.”
Smartization is not limited to the development of information technology and equipment, and in this regard, cultural and infrastructural transformation to improve the lives of citizens should be on the agenda, in fact, the main pillar of the smart city is the level of citizen participation in technology, she added.
