The Parks and Green Space Organization has participated in the Tehran International Tourism and Related Industries Exhibition to present the achievements and developments of the tourism and recreation infrastructure of Qom.
Today, tourism, as one of the most important industries for sustainable development, great economic opportunity, social and cultural opportunities for metropolises.
Competition for the sustainable development of urban tourism with regard to the needs of tourists, along with strengthening the participation of the private sector and citizens in meeting these needs, should be considered and planned by the executive management of urban tourism.
Some of these elements include infrastructures that play a vital role in the tourism process and its development.
Tourism facilities and equipment is not a factor in attracting tourists to the city, but it is considered as one of the important tourism infrastructures and plays an important role in increasing the sustainability and satisfaction of tourists.
Qom Municipality has attended the Tehran International Exhibition of Tourism and Related Industries (TITE) in order to introduce the capacities and measures taken in this regard.
For several years, the municipality has been constructing cultural and tourism centers due to the importance of tourism development and the creation of recreational places.
Moreover, during these years, various organizations and urban areas with great efforts along with changing the face of Qom city, have caused the prosperity of these centers in different parts of the city.
In the Qom Municipality booth, various measures including construction of hotels, amusement parks, recreation centers, restaurants, and various places such as cable cars and Telesiege in Alavi Park and actions done in Ghadir Park, have been depicted.
