Qom Municipality Director General of Coordination and Supervision of Urban Services has declared that ten committees are formed in the Pilgrim Facilities Headquarter to hold mid-Shaban celebrations in the Holy Mosque of Jamkaran.
Seyyed Mohsen Mirhadi made the remarks attending the meeting of Qom Municipality Pilgrim Facilities and Travel Services Headquarter which was held on Wednesday.
The committees are performing duties related to the executive affairs, safety and relief, food and other necessities, accommodation, information, monitoring, statistics and evaluation, transportation and traffic, and culture and beautification, said Mirhadi.
He went on to say that the executive committees are have been established in the Holy Mosque of Jamkaran, parking lots and car parks.
Earlier, Abbas Zakerian, deputy of municipal services of Qom Municipality has stated that said that we are ready to welcome the pilgrims of mid-Shaban and provide services to them.
Zakerian asked the managers of Qom 8 districts to take necessary measures to beautify and decorate the city coinciding with various national and religious occasions.
One of the most important religious occasions among Shia Muslims is the 15th of the sixth Islamic month of Shaban which is the birthday of twelfth Imam of Shia Muslims, Imam Mahdi (AS).
