Qom Municipality’s Cultural, Artistic, and Sports Organization was elected as the social chairman of the tourism committee of Iran Metropolises Mayors Society.
In the 45th meeting of the cultural deputies of the Cultural and Social Commission of Iran Metropolises Mayors Society, Hamid Naderi, head of Tourism Department of Qom Municipality’s Cultural, Artistic, and Sports Organization was designated to the social chairman of the tourism committee of Iran Mayors Society.
According to Alma Faramarzi, Secretary of the Cultural and Social Commission of the Assembly of Iran Mayors the city of Qom was elected as the head of the committee due to the developing and impressive urban tourism activities and continuous cooperation of tourism management of Qom Municipality Cultural, Social and Sports Organization.
The most important executive policy of the tourism committee is the cooperation of Iran’s metropolises municipalities for the prosperity and development of tourism, Naderi noted.
He stressed the need for the municipalities’ coordination in providing desirable services to pilgrims and tourists on national and religious occasions.
Urban information and advertising in order to introduce the tourism capacities of Iran metropolises are one of the most significant priorities of the tourism committee, he further stated.
