The mayor of Qom says that the municipality pays special attention to improving the quality of services in the bus fleet.
Dr. Seyyed Morteza Saghaeiannejad made the remarks speaking at the 21st public meeting of the Qom City Council on Tuesday.
Since the last 7 months, Qom Municipality has taken a new approach to the improvement of bus transportation services and carried out a lot of research in this area to generate a suitable plan, Dr. Saghaeiannejad noted.
Moreover, he stressed that for the plan to be implemented properly, we need to provide credit and guarantee the financial processes.
The campaign of “Let’s Support Each other” is also held in order to create a culture and improve the traffic behavior of citizens, he added.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the mayor referred to monitoring and controlling, repairing and maintenance, creating a culture among citizens, and fulfilling the financial obligations as the four principal factors for the implementation of the plan.
If this plan is accomplished successfully, it can be considered as one of the innovative projects in the city of Qom, he reiterated.
Saghaeiannejad finally emphasized that with the implementation of this plan, air pollution and environmental challenges will be reduced, and there will also be a major change in the management of the bus fleet.
