The Director General of Communications and International Affairs of Qom Municipality says a campaign committee was formed in the municipality for the upcoming presidential elections.
One of the priorities of the Qom municipality campaign committee is to create a platform for the people’s maximum turnout at the ballot boxes, Mehdi Kalantarzadeh noted.
The municipal official pointed out that the committee consists of the General Directorate of Communications and International Affairs, the Cultural Organization, the Beautification Organization and the Municipal Services Complex.
The committee has begun its activities and will try to create proper conditions for displaying promotional content to encourage citizens to enthusiastically participate in the upcoming elections, he added.
Kalantarzadeh went on to say that 770 billboards were considered for displaying graphic designs with the themes of the words of martyrs, Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei about the elections.
The billboards will be installed in several parts of the city with the aim of maximizing the people’s presence in the upcoming presidential elections and their enlightenment as well as informing them about the programs of different parties, the Director General of Communications and International Affairs of Qom Municipality stated.
He also reiterated that the beautification organizations of Qom Municipality and the election campaign committee will install 530 billboards in different parts of the city for the campaigning of the candidates for presidential elections, midterm elections for the Assembly of Experts, and the Islamic City Council of Qom.
The 13th presidential election will be held on June 18 along with three other elections – the City Council Elections, the Parliamentary By-Elections and the Assembly of Expert By-Elections.
