A car-free Tuesday campaign was held this week with a caravan of flowers and bicycles on the occasion of Arbor week.
A car-free Tuesday campaign, which has been held since the beginning of this year to promote a culture of citizenship in the use of clean transportation, was held this week with 30 cyclists for 3 hours and a 30-kilometer path.
This campaign is held every week in Qom at the suggestion of the Health and Transportation Cleaning Working Group and with the presence of the staff of the Department of Sports and Youth of Qom Province and in cooperation with the Cultural and Artistic Sports Organization of Qom Municipality and the city’s cycling board.
It should be noted that all health protocols such as wearing gloves and face masks in addition to the use of safety equipment such as sheilds were observed.

National Tree Planting Day, is annually celebrated on the fifteenth day of Esfand, the last month on the Iranian calendar, which usually corresponds with March 5. The day marks the beginning of National Week of Natural Resources (March 5-12).
