The deputy of Environment and Urban Services of Qom Municipality pointed to the promotion of citizenship culture in the field of household and construction waste, emphasizing dealing with violations of Article 16.
Mehdi Isfahanian Moghadam stated that the policy and macro approach of Qom municipality is centered on the districts, and the urban management group follows macro policymaking and monitoring the correct implementation of policies.
He went on to say that organizations and different departments of the municipality should help the districts and regions to strengthen the processes.
Referring to the violations of Article 16, he added, “Blocking of reservoirs, disposal of garbage and waste in the city, disposal and release of construction debris and sewage, etc. are among the cases with which it is possible to file a violation case.”
Stressing the powerful activity of the dispute resolution council, he underscored that the proper activity of this council can bring some of the problems in the city that cause inconvenience to the citizens in a good way.
Touching upon the promotion of citizenship culture in the field of household and construction waste, he reiterated, “Citizens’ participation is a prerequisite and the main infrastructure for the optimal service of the urban management group.”
