The Deputy Coordinator of Civil Affairs of Qom Governorate emphasized the high urban population and the characteristic of Qom’s pilgrimage, saying the quantitative and qualitative improvement of the bus fleet in Qom is admirable.
Ebrahim Motamedi made the remarks at the meeting of the Council of the Bus Organization which was held with the mayor of Qom in attendance.
Considering the presence of millions of pilgrims in Qom, measures should be taken to increase the number of public fleets, he stated.
He then stressed the holding of various national and religious events and a large number of Iranian and foreign pilgrims in Qom.
He went on to note the need to upgrade and strengthen the bus fleet is clearly felt.
Motamedi said that according to the annual budget of the bus organization, 700 million Tomans are spent on each bus in Qom.
Appreciating the round-the-clock services of the public fleet during the Arbaeen days inside the city and the border of Mehran, the Deputy of Civil Affairs Coordination of Qom Governorate asserted that Qom Municipality provided high-quality services in the issue of Arbaeen walk.
