The mayor of Qom announced that by the end of 1400 and on the occasion of the blessed Decade of Fajr, 100 urban projects with a credit of nearly 10 thousand billion rials will be inaugurated.
Dr. Seyyed Morteza Saghaiannejad made the remarks in an interview with reporters on the sidelines of a series of Qom Municipality urban projects inaugurations.
Elaborating on the opening of urban projects on the occasion of the Fajr Decade, the mayor said that during the Fajr Decade, 100 urban projects worth nearly 10,000 billion Rials will be put into operation to serve our dear citizens.
Referring to the inauguration of 12 projects in the first step, he noted that among the flagship projects that were operated in the first phase of the Fajr Decade projects this year, is the Martyrs Judi Cultural and Sports Complex in District 5 of Qom Municipality and Ismailabad neighborhood.
The Mayor of Qom pointed out that the projects that will be inaugurated in the framework of the “Qom on the path of development” projects are in two areas of hardware and software.
The third phase of Eram Street sidewalk is one of the good projects for paving around the holy shrine, which will be put into operation in the coming days, he added.
He touched upon the preparation of the administrative buildings of the municipalities of the second and third districts, adding the first phase of the Pilgrim Park is one of the other inaugural projects of this Fajr Decade, which is a part of the thousand-hectare park.
Dr. Saghaiannejad went on to say that the inauguration of Martyrs Borghei Street, the implementation process of which took 40 years, is one of the major projects of this Fajr Decade, noting the third phase of Shahid Rouhani Street project will be inaugurated in the coming days.
He added by the end of the year, various urban projects will be inaugurated on different occasions; In all these stages, there are one or two significant projects that we hope will bring satisfaction to the citizens of Qom.
Referring to the unveiling of 52 city buses in the first phase of Qom city projects, Saghaiannejad noted that in 2018, Qom’s bus fleet was nearly 11 years old and was considered worn out, but with the measures taken, this fleet is now young.
The mayor of Qom concluded that on the eve of the 43rd anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the holy days of the holy months of Rajab and Sha’ban, and the beginning of the year 1401; We hope that the inauguration of these development projects can respect the blood of the martyrs, give hope to the young generation, honor the dear pilgrims and make people happier with the Islamic system.
