The mayor of Qom has emphasized the importance of paying attention to professional and specialized aspects of municipal jobs and meritocracy in appointments.
Speaking at the meeting of the municipal board of directors, Dr. Seyyed Morteza Saghaeiannejad touched upon the significance of human resources in the optimal performance of urban management missions.
Human assets play a great role in organizations and technology has not been able to lessen their importance and position, Saghaeiannejad said.
He went on to say that human resource is considered a vital factor for the survival, efficiency and productivity of organizations, so we should pay more attention to their progress.
Stressing the Qom Municipality’s attitude to staff resources and its careful choices, he reiterated that manpower has a special place in different layers of the municipality, especially the managerial ranks, as a link between the city management and citizens.
The mayor also highlighted the municipal staff’s commitment, adding it should be observed in all responsibilities, especially in the positions that have the most clients.
He finally underscored the need to obtain citizens’ satisfaction and said there should be a great focus on the performance of human resources and managers.
