House of Iranian nuke scientist Fakhrizadeh to be turned into museum

Following the order of Qom mayor, the house of the high-profile Iranian nuclear scientist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh will be turned into a museum in the near future.

The house museum, which is going to be built on the site of Martyr Fakhrizadeh’s father’s house in Qom, will include various sections and will introduce different aspects of the nuclear scientist’s life in the form of cultural and artistic productions.

Coinciding with the start of construction and reconstruction process of the house, some historical and scientific studies will be done to present appropriate contents in the museum.

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was assassinated on November 27, 2020, in a terrorist attack that Iran blamed on Israel and which was aimed to disrupt the county’s nuclear program.

In order to promote the culture of self-sacrifice and martyrdom, the municipality of Qom had formerly inaugurated the museums of the martyrs Zainuddin and the martyrs of the 17th Division of Ali Ibn Abitaleb (AS) in May 2021.

Then, the municipality has put the construction of several museum houses of the city’s prominent martyrs on its agenda.

The commemoration ceremony and the beginning of the executive operation of the Martyr Fakhrizadeh’s house museum will be held on December 30, 2021.
