The acting head of transportation and traffic deputy of Qom Municipality has said that we are consulting with the private sector to activate tourist buses in Qom.
Touching upon the significance and ways of tourism development in Qom, Masoud Tabibi stated that launching tourist buses is one of the most important issues in the field of tourism development and prosperity.
Tabibi also elaborated on the municipality’s measures in the tourism section, saying special barcodes are to be installed on the city signs of historical places so that tourists can easily access these places.
Over the last few years, Qom Municipality has taken several steps to strengthen the tourism economy of Qom, attract domestic and foreign investors, and introduce the city’s tourism capacities to the citizens and tourists.
In this regard, Head of Tourism Department of Qom Municipality’s Cultural, Artistic and Sports Organization had earlier declared that the secretariat of tourism symposium will be activated in the city of Qom.
Furthermore, Mohammad Reza Marefat, the head of investment affairs of Qom Municipality had previously stressed the importance of private sector participation in the city development, adding investment packages are to be developed in the fields of recreation and tourism.
