Having a 7,000-year-old civilization, the city of Qom enjoys scientific, historical, and cultural monuments and tourist attractions.
So, it is one of the main tourist destinations in the country with more than 25 million domestic and foreign pilgrims who annually visit the city and the holy shrine of Hazrat Fatemeh Masoumeh (AS).
Historic bazaars are among the city’s most attractive tourist’s attractions which are located in the central core of the city and are tied to Iranian Islamic history and civilization.
The Grand Timcheh of Qom is one of the historical and attractive bazaars of the city, which belongs to the Qajar period and is located inside the bazaar.
The roof of this Timcheh is one of the largest multiplication ceilings in Iran. It has three springs, the middle part of which has an opening and a height of 15 meters.
According to experts, there are significant architectural points that can be studied in the design of Timcheh.
