The Director General of Communications and International Affairs of Qom Municipality says the second media festival of “Our City” will be held in order to produce specialized works in the field of urban management.
Qom Municipality is concerned about dealing with issues that require the expertise of the members of media and citizens so “Our City” media festival has been designed to train journalists and make the academic researchers to pay attention to urban issues, stated Mehdi Kalantarzadeh on Monday.
Kalantarzadeh also noted that holding specialized festivals is one of the main factors in sustainable development.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he elaborated on the first media festival of “Our City”, saying it was widely welcomed so that 1,157 works were sent to the festival secretariat, and the winners were awarded.
The municipal official finally announced that the public call for the second media festival of “Our City” will take place by the end of this month.
The Director General of Communications and International Affairs of Qom Municipality had already announced that the poster of the second media festival of ‘Our City’ will be unveiled in the very near future.
He also invited artists, members of the media and citizens of Qom to participate in this media event.
