A municipal official has announced that a Traffic Park will soon be launched in the city of
Qom on the occasion of the ‘National Transportation Week’.
Touching upon the final stages of Traffic Park’s construction, the district manager of Qom Municipality said it will be opened in December 2021.
Reza Rahimi said Traffic Park has been built for the first time with a credit of 350 billion rials in an area of 12,000 square meters.
A memorandum of understanding was concluded between the education department and Qom municipality, so the students can attend the park and gain necessary training in the field of transportation, Rahimi added.
He went on to say that Qom Municipality has a written plan to implement urban projects in various fields, adding they are being carried out according to the budget lines.
The municipality plans to annually implement 70 to 80 large and small projects in district 2, he noted.
The municipal official also referred to Martyr Reza Azizzadegan Cultural and Sports Complex as the most important project which was launched in district 2 of Qom Municipality over the last six months.
Moreover, the former manager of district 2 has earlier said that 21 major urban projects have been implemented in this district over a period of five years (2014-2020).
