Deputy of municipal services of Qom municipality has emphasized the need to scientifically convince people to get vaccinated until the life returns to normal after declining in COVID-19 cases.
Speaking at the meeting of the provincial COVID-19 crisis management headquarters, Abbas Zakerian urged the provincial official to take necessary measures to scientifically respond to fight false rumors about vaccination.
According to the reports of Qom University of Medical Sciences, most of the patients who get infected with coronavirus or are in a critical condition are those who have not received the vaccine yet, Zakerian stated.
He also asked medical experts and members of the media to scientifically convince people about the need of getting vaccinated.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he noted that due to the large gatherings of people in cemeteries some of the employees of this organization have been infected with the coronavirus.
The municipal official further said that officials should take serious measures in order to prevent dangerous gatherings in cemeteries.
According to Iran’s Health Ministry, the number of deaths from the coronavirus pandemic in Iran increased to 115,619 with 452 more Iranians killed by the deadly disease over the past 24 hours.
The Health Ministry also announced that 26,139,133 Iranians have received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine and 13,075,601 people have so far received the second dose of the vaccine.
