The head of the Information and Communication Technology Organization of Qom Municipality has announced that 32 electronic services are offered in Qom-yar system.
Kourosh Mohammad-Hosseini referred to the Qom municipality’s plans and priorities in developing a smart city, saying that at present, more than 32 services are electronically provided to citizens in the Qom-yar system, which should be mentioned as the first step towards moving to a smart city.
Creating hardware infrastructure is one of the main requirements of this field, Mohammad-Hosseini stated, adding Qom Municipality is pursuing a comprehensive plan in order to provide electronic services to citizens and reduce their physical movements in the city.
He also touched upon the ever increasing importance of providing e-services during the COVID-19 pandemic, expressing hope that the provision of comprehensive electronic services will accelerate with the cooperation of all related organizations.
Moreover, the head of the Information and Communication Technology Organization of Qom Municipality highlighted the higher position of Qom in the field of technology and smartization comparing to other metropolises.
Earlier, Kourosh Mohammad-Hosseini elaborated on the activities and services in the Information and Communication Organization of Qom Municipality,saying that this organization was established in 2019 with the aim of developing electronic citizen services and improving services for citizens.
