The mayor of Qom Dr. Seyyed Morteza Saghaiannejad says the municipality’s projects continued to be launched following the “Qom on the path of development” plan.
The Qom municipality’s projects are launched on the last Wednesday of each month, Dr. Saghaiannejad stated attending the inauguration ceremony of three large green space, cultural and civil projects which was held today.
Speaking about the urban projects, he referred to inaugurating the first phase of Qom Metro and administrative buildings project in districts 2 and 3, completing 1000-hectare Park, Martyr Fahimi, Ammar Yaser and Faghihi streets, sports sheds, and sidewalks, collecting abandoned rail lines, inaugurating the city council’s building, adding 50 new buses to the urban transport fleet, and operating the second line of waste which will gradually be carried out by the end of this year.
The mayor also stressed the new programs for the city’s management which are implemented in coordination with the city council to upgrade the city of Qom in all areas.
On the 9th week of inaugurations, the Qom Municipality launched the Great Park of Hazrat Khezr Nabi (AS), Martyrs Jafarinia Cultural and Sports Complex, and the rest of Martyr Soleimani Boulevard within the ‘Qom on the path of development’ framework.
