The head of the Information and Communication Technology Organization of Qom Municipality says we are planning to develop electronic services of the Qom-yar system.
Kourosh Mohammad-Hosseini made the remarks in a press conference in which 6-year performance of Qom Municipality was explained.
Since the Information and Communication Technology Organization of Qom Municipality was established in 2019, it has sought to strengthen the infrastructure of electronic services, Mohammad-Hosseini noted.
Saying one of the main approaches of urban management is to provide electronic services, he announced that we succeeded to set up an electronic service desk called Qam-yar in 2020.
He further highlighted the remarkable development of the Qom-yar system, adding from the second half of 2020, all urban planning applications have been registered on the Qom-yar system, and a new version of it has just been released and can be downloaded.
Referring to the activation of citizenship account in the Qom-yar system, the municipal official said one of the first applications of this service was the possibility of paying taxi fares, which has been activated and usable since last year.
He went on to say that now 3,500 taxis are equipped with barcodes so passengers can pay their fares and see the record of their payment.
Qom citizens can also use different services, like real estate, building, cars, transportation, etc, in the Qom-yar system, he stated.
The head of the Information and Communication Technology Organization of Qom Municipality finally said we have provided various facilities for citizens, expressing hope that they use these facilities and be satisfied.
