Ghadir amusement park, the largest amusement park in the city of Qom, was opened on the fifth week of the inaugurations of the municipality’s urban projects in the framework of ‘Qom on the path of development’ plan.
Reportedly, since the last four years, some 560 billion rials has been spent for the construction and equipment of Ghadir amusement park, which is located in Ghadir Boulevard.
The amusement park is currently ready for operation in an area of 47,000 square meters, of which 30,000 square meters is an amusement park and 17,000 square meters is a parking lot, the report said.
Creating a recreational tourism environment for Qom citizens and pilgrims, strengthening social vitality for children, teenagers and young people, directly providing job opportunities for 60 people and developing the urban economy are among the major goals of this project.
This recreational center is the largest amusement park in Qom in terms of area and number of devices. Also, the light and heavy devices, including the “U train” device, which are used in this amusement park are among the most up-to-date devices in the country.
Creating green space with fresh water species inside the complex along with private parking are among the other prominent features of this project.
In the framework of ‘Qom on the path of development’ plan, Qom municipality weekly inaugurates some urban projects in different areas in order to serve the citizens.
