The head of the Information and Communication Technology Organization of Qom Municipality says the municipality has always concerned to use local capacities in implementing projects in different areas.
Emphasizing the use of local capacities and potentials of the province, Kourosh Mohammad-Hosseini stated that due to the Supreme Leader’s concern about removing barriers to production and job creation, using local capacities has become a task in the municipality.
To design and implement Qom-yar system, local specialists and capacities were used as much as possible, he announced, stressing that many of the software infrastructures used have the leading capacities in the country.
Saying Qom is a capable city in terms of specialized manpower, the municipal official noted that the Information and Communication Technology Organization of Qom Municipality has tried to give priority to local forces and capacities.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he reiterated that a significant part of Qom Card system has been designed and implemented with the help of provincial capacities, expressing hope that we can completely use the local specialists; potentials in the near future.
With the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the Information and Communication Technology Organization of Qom Municipality has sought to develop Electronic Citizen Services and eliminate physical visits, and to this end, the organization launched an electronic service desk called Qom-yar that covers a wide range of services needed by citizens.
Similarly, an electronic citizenship card called “Qom Card” was also put into operation by the ICT organization of Qom municipality in order to provide various e-services to people.
