The head of the eighth district of Qom Municipality says more than 25 meters of green space per capita has been recorded in Pardisan town in Qom.
Having 28 urban parks, 3 non-regional parks, and 25/99 square meters of green space per capita, Pardisan town has recorded a number that is close to the world standards, Mohammad Ramezani announced.
Pardisan is a green region, said Ramezani in an interview, adding that the town has the closest standard to green space per capita in Europe.
He considered the 8th District, with 3 non-regional parks, as one of the environmental tourism hubs in Qom, saying the city of Qom, especially Pardisan, has favorable conditions in terms of green space and the number of urban and non-regional parks.
Elaborating on the design of Pardisan parks, the head of the eighth district of Qom Municipality noted that they are designed based on the neighborhood-oriented approach and the necessary facilities such as mosque, bakery, department stores, and fruit shops are defined for them.
Today, the construction of parks and the implementation of green space and landscaping have picked up more pace, the municipal official stated.
He further appreciated the management and maintenance of the parks green space, stressing that the development and construction of the parks is part of the process of increasing the green space per capita, and we should express our gratitude to the gardeners for their daily activities and the people who are trying to maintain the green spaces.
