The head of the Information and Communication Technology Organization of Qom Municipality has announced that the municipality signed a memorandum of cooperation with a routing software startup named “Neshan”.
Touching upon the agreement, Kourosh Mohammad-Hosseini said ICT organization is ready to cooperate with knowledge-based companies and startups to increase the provision of electronic services to citizens.
Mohammad-Hosseini also referred to the tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (the MoU) signed among the ICT organization of Qom municipality, the Deputy of Transportation and Traffic of Qom Municipality and the Rajman Information Structures Company which are active in the field of maps and routing.
Elaborating on the provisions of the tripartite MoU’s, he said “Neshan” routing software will provide a wide range of services, like presenting maps with different spatial layers, routing for citizens, providing accelerators information, traffic data, searching for places and other citizen services based on spatial maps.
This applications will make services, including registration of urban planning applications, request for garbage transport box and other services of Qom Municipality’s service desk system (Qom-yar) available in the near future, the municipality official noted.
Emphasizing the significance of signing such agreements, Mohammad-Hosseini stated that using the capacity of the private sector, these services will be provided specifically for the citizens of Qom.
And they can be extended to other services and applications that require the cooperation of knowledge-based companies and startups, head of ICT organization added.
He went on to say that Qom Municipality is ready to provide electronic services to citizens through interested startups, and to this end, it is prepared to sign a memorandum of understanding with capable companies in this field.
