Martyr Reza Azizzadegan Cultural and Sports Complex has been put into operation in District 2 of Qom Municipality in order to develop the city’s cultural and sports infrastructure.
Martyr Azizzadegan Cultural and Sports Complex has been built with a credit of 230 billion rials, including 180 billion rials of land acquisition and liberation costs and 50 billion rials of construction costs on Yadegar Imam Boulevard, Martyr Shamloo Street.
The construction operation of this project started in 2018 on a land with an area of 2,400 square meters.
One of the goals of this project is to increase the per capita cultural and sports culture of Qom municipality, create the necessary space for the development of individual and group sports, and empower the weak to use standard cultural and sports spaces.
The use of new cooling and heating systems, location and construction of spectator stands as well as special stands, standard flooring and suitable lighting for the lighting of this hall are among the technical features done in this project.
The Director General of Communications and International Affairs of Qom Municipality, Mehdi Kalantarzadeh previously announced the implementation of a weekly plan “Qom on the path of development” in order to inaugurate and operate urban projects.
The project of Martyr Azizzadegan Cultural and Sports Complex is one of the first three projects that was inaugurated today with the presence of provincial and city managers.
