The director of the Parks and Green Space Organization of Qom Municipality announced that all the forest and city parks will be reopened today after a few weeks of quarantine.

Payam Javadian said that according to the approval of the national and provincial headquarters for managing and fighting the coronavirus and the easing of lockdown restrictions, all the forest and city parks of Qom will be reopened today in compliance with health protocols.

The municipality official has also declared that the blocked entrances to the parks will be reopened and the sanitary services, as well as the prayer halls, will be open, stressing that the disinfection of the reopened areas would be done on a daily basis.

Referring to the surge in the coronavirus outbreaks in the country and the city of Qom as well, Javadian urged the citizens to refrain from any kind of gathering in parks and fully comply with the health protocols.
