The first stage of vaccination of Qom’s sweepers was performed today with the vaccinating of 663 sweepers.
With the coordination which was done between Qom Municipality and the provincial health center, the vaccination of 663 Qomi sweepers has begun from today in Seyed Al-Shohada clinic of Qom municipality.
It is worth mentioning that the second dose of the vaccine will be shot one month later to those who received the first dose of that.
So far, 1,593,219 patients out of a total of 1,855,674 infected people have recovered or been discharged from hospitals across the country.
Reportedly, some 3,928 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition and being treated in intensive care units.
Also, 12,618,4200 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out nationwide.
Since its outbreak, the COVID-19 pandemic has infected nearly 127 million people across the world, of whom over 2,780,000 people have lost their lives.
Iran has received several batches of Russia’s Sputnik V vaccines as the country moves ahead with a nation-wide immunization drive against the coronavirus pandemic.
