Qom Municipality has inaugurated 99 construction, traffic, environmental, urban planning, and service projects during an official ceremony with the presence of Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli and provincial and city managers.
Qom Governor Bahram Sarmast, Qom Mayor Dr. Seyyed Morteza Saghaiannejad, Qom lawmakers, chairman and members of Qom Islamic City Council, and other city and provincial officials were among attendees.
The sixth stage of the inauguration of Qom Municipality development projects was held in the conference hall of Qom Municipality and simultaneously with the Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) Eid al-Mab’ath.
The four key projects of this inauguration were Valiasr non-level intersection, Revolution sidewalk, Hananeh Park, and the first phase of Hazrat Khadijeh Boulevard, which were put into operation before the ceremony and their official inauguration was held in the presence of the Minister of Interior.
Stressing the necessity of elimination of the shortcomings of Qom province, the interior minister said that the deficiencies of this city should be eradicated and on the other hand, the affairs of the holy city should be considered given its position.
Rahmani Fazli announced the allocation of funds for the modernization of the public transport fleet while adding that 5,000 buses and 2,000 wagons will be provided via oil barter deals, in which the needs of Qom province will also be noticed.
