85% of citizens’ applications registered via Qom-yar system

The head of the Information and Communication Technology Organization of Qom Municipality says that 85% of the registration of citizens’ requests is done through the Qom-yar system.

Elaborating on the activities and services in the Information and Communication Organization of Qom Municipality, Kourosh Mohammad-Hosseini stated that this organization was established in 2019 with the aim of developing electronic citizen services and improving services for citizens.

Of course, the municipality has been active in the field of implementation of electronic systems and electronic services for many years, and this service has a 20-year long history, Mohammad-Hosseini underlined.
 He added that in order to provide better services to citizens, the municipality decided to establish an independent organization two years ago.
The municipal official stressed that during this period, the approach of the Development Organization is to provide electronic citizenship services in the field of eliminating citizens’ physical presence and promoting electronic and non-present payments.
He noted that In order to develop the infrastructure and communication network in the area of fiber optics and other information networks, steps were taken.
 He went on to say that many software systems were implemented during this time that the most important of which is the electronic service desk called Qam-yar.
Mohammad-Hosseini concluded that citizens can register their requests in the field of urban planning and construction through the Qamyar system.
