Qom to reopen parks from January 20 after pandemic shutdown

The director of the Parks and Green Space Organization of Qom Municipality announced that the parks of the city will be reopened from January 20 according to the approval of the National Corona Headquarters.

As per the report of the Public Relations Unit of the Parks and Green Space Organization of Qom Municipality, Payam Javadian made the announcement referring to the closure of the city’s parks due to the surge in the coronavirus outbreaks in the country and the city of Qom as well.

The municipality official has also declared that after disinfecting the park spaces and cleaning them, the parks will be available to the people from Wednesday (January 20).

The reopening of the parks will just be for the use of the people, and gatherings are not allowed and people can go to these spaces to use the fresh space of the parks, Javadian stated.

He stressed that the presence of people in the parks should be in accordance with the health instructions while adding the sanitary services as well as the prayer halls will be open until one hour before and after the noon and evening call to prayer.

Meanwhile, he urged people to pay attention to time restrictions and leave the parks before 9 p.m.
