A series of citizenship culture animation named “Life without Waste” was unveiled today on the open floor of the Islamic City Council of Qom.
The event held with the mayor, chairman and members of the Islamic City Council of Qom in attendance.
According to the public relations unit of Qom Municipality Waste Management, Seyyed Abdullah Mirebrahimi in the ceremony stated that by producing this animation series in several episodes, we tried to present citizenship messages to the citizens in the shortest possible time and with the greatest impact.
Stressing the significance of using character creation to provide educational content, the head of Qom Municipality Waste Management Organization noted that, “Urban management applies various symbols, logos and graphic characters in each period to involve citizens in the field of waste separation and collection.”
Referring to the production of educational animations with a new cartoon character, Mirebrahimi said: “In line with the planning and implementing a waste reduction proposal, this organization decided to use the presence of experts in the field of graphics.
He went on to add that this move aims to increase the effectiveness of processes of education, information and culture in the field of waste management among citizens.
The municipality official asserted that the “Life without Waste” animation series tells in every episode the story of a family who faces one of the principles and concepts of waste management, and with the help of the narrator, they make the right decision to deal with the situation.
He concluded that this series would be available via the media and cyberspace.
